Wind Farm Jalm: 6 V112 3.3 MW Wind Turbines Successfully Commissioned

In 2014, six modern Vestas V112 wind turbines were successfully erected and connected to the grid in Jalm, Schleswig-Holstein. Each turbine has a rated capacity of 3.3 MW and a hub height of 94 meters. The project was implemented on schedule and without delay.
The wind farm was realized through a collaboration of local landowners. Notably, one of the turbines is operated as a citizens’ wind turbine, enabling residents to economically benefit from the project’s success.
A unique aspect of the project is its location along the so-called “Energy Corridor A7”, a forward-thinking concept that takes advantage of the infrastructure for wind power development along Germany’s longest motorway. The proximity to the A7 motorway offers several advantages
In the nearby Keelbek, a Nordex N133 turbine with a rated output of 4.8 MW has additionally been installed. Planning is presently underway for another Nordex N163, demonstrating the region’s ongoing expansion of wind energy use.
Dirkshof GmbH managed the entire project, from planning and construction to technical and commercial operations. With decades of experience in wind energy, Dirkshof ensures professional implementation and long-term sustainable operation.
