Wind Farm Hohen Pritz - 14 S77 Wind Turbines – 85 m Hub Height

Located in the picturesque region of Mecklenburg-Western Pommerania, the Hohen Pritz Wind Farm comprises 14 Enercon S77 wind turbines, each one with a hub height of 85 meters. All in all, these turbines make a substantial contribution to the region’s renewable energy production and represent a strong commitment to generating sustainable power.
To ensure optimal turbine performance around the clock, the wind farm is supported by a dedicated and experienced maintenance and service team. A locally stationed service container – equipped with essential spare parts – allows for fast response times and maximum system availability. This setup enables our two certified local service technicians to manage operations with high efficiency and precision.
In addition to the technical team, on-site oversight is provided by a locally based wind farm caretaker ("Windwart"), ensuring continuous monitoring and swift handling of any operational issue. The team's proximity to the site guarantees both responsiveness and familiarity with the specific requirements of the wind park.
Thanks to official maintenance authorization, even sensitive components such as the converter systems are serviced directly on-site. This not only streamlines the servicing process but also minimizes downtime, ensuring a reliable power output.
The wind farm is connected to the grid via a dedicated 30 kV power line stretching approximately 23 kilometers, which leads directly to the facility’s own transformer at the Crivitz substation. This infrastructure ensures secure and efficient energy transmission to the grid.
With a vision for the future and a commitment to innovation, the entire wind farm is scheduled for repowering in 2026. This modernization will significantly enhance performance, efficiency, and environmental compatibility – securing the long-term contribution of Hohen Pritz to the clean energy transition.
