For over three generations, the Ketelsen family has managed this 150-hectare property with a deep commitment to sustainability. In 1989, Dirkshof was transformed into a certified organic farm, setting a benchmark for eco-friendly agriculture in the region.

More than 35 years ago, one of North Frisia’s very first wind turbines began turning here. Driven by a clear vision to create regional value and promote socially inclusive renewable energy, Dirk Ketelsen played a leading role in developing the concept of community wind farms – a model that has since found success far beyond the borders of Schleswig-Holstein.

To date, the Dirkshof Group has successfully realized wind projects generating over 700 megawatts of capacity – both in Germany and internationally. With a team of more than 35 experienced specialists, Dirkshof provides end-to-end consulting and project development services in the wind energy sector.
