Very recent repowering: 3 Vestas V112 for Sweden

The dismantling of three Vestas V112 wind turbines has begun at Dirkshof's Wöhrden wind farm. Last week, the first nacelle was successfully dismantled and brought safely to the ground - a significant milestone following a phase of intensive planning and technical preparation. Among other things, special lifting tools and transport frames were developed and manufactured to ensure a safe and efficient process.

The dismantling is being carried out in collaboration with our experienced contractual partner Business in Wind, who is responsible for the technical implementation and logistical coordination. Together, we ensure that all work runs smoothly and on schedule.

Despite their relatively young age, the turbines have to make way for the expansion of a high-voltage station. In doing so, they are indirectly contributing to the further modernization of the energy infrastructure in the region.

A new chapter is beginning for the three wind turbines in Sweden: In future, they will replace older turbines. This reuse will give the Vestas V112s a second life and they will continue to contribute to the generation of sustainable energy - now in Scandinavian wind conditions.
