Recognition of the passive radar system (PARASOL): dark nights emission-free
Dirkshof has received air traffic law approval for its innovative nighttime marking concept for wind turbines.
We have now officially received final approval for our first Parasol project in the Reußenkögen area. This means that tall wind turbines only light up at night when actually needed. The clear advantages of this system are that it does not generate additional radiation emissions – it uses the existing television and mobile phone waves of DVB-T, DAB plus, or LTE. Furthermore, it does not require a separate frequency allocation. We are delighted with the recognition!
