Breaking new ground with batteries
While manufacturer prices are falling and huge storage requests are circulating, North Frisian pioneers such as Dirkshof are already taking action. Today, large batteries can be used to earn money—and refine wind power regionally. However, despite regulatory easing, the market, grid expansion, and political line remain uncertain. The next opportunity? New consumers, methanol from wind power, and CO₂—perhaps with the help of the biogas industry.
