Community wind farms - near future in Ireland?

The crew of RTE 1 TV from Ireland visit Dirkshof to research for their broadcast EcoEye about "Green Electricity" about the community wind farm model and think about export this idea to Ireland....

In Ireland the main part of electricity is coming from fossil and carbon based energy, due to a lot of very good wind sites. The main reason for not developing renewable energy, wind energy projects, is the not existing acceptance in the population. EcoEye researches all prejudices and looks for new and different ways, to get out of it. This bring them to Denmark and Germany, in detail: to the Dirkshof.
