Prof. Sánchez Sorondo, Chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and Minister Peter Harry Carstensen visited the community energy project Reußenköge. Both were welcomed by Dirk Ketelsen (executive director Dirkshof), Vestas Central Europe’s executive director Hans Jörn Rieks, and other representatives of the wind energy industry.

During the visit both were impressed by the environmentally friendly energy generation. In particular they noted the arrangement of the community energy project and the resulting acceptance of the plant amongst the local residents.
